Alas, there is Spring on Spring Street.

A long time coming, it is quite Spring. We make nightly trips to steal daffodils from Bank gardens and all the cherry blossoms are in bloom.

I just dropped Insley off for a field trip to New York while I try to work up the energy to go to the first Farmers Market of the year.

I doesn't even do it justice to begin to describe how busy I am. I've taken on four or five personal art projects down stairs, only two of which are finished. The walls are painted, but I will not give you pictures. Those of you abroad are the only people who will walk in and see it whole and entire, and not watch the process. Even though doing everything by hand is cool, it's also time consuming and hard.

In time for the combined birthday party, little things around the apartment finally were finished (in all that spare time I had)- curtains, pictures on the walls, and other details. Insley walked in (after my all-nighter to do these things) and stated "It finally looks like somebody lives here."

I received a large television for my birthday, finally solving the problem of Insley and my blindness and inability to see the TV from across the room. And just yesterday I ventured into my closet to discover that we do, in fact, have cable. In fact we have digital cable. For free. To some degree this seems to have ruined the apartment, and we have discussed unhooking it.

Of this bundle of joy, we have claimed the bottom two - the gray and the tortoise shell calico - two little baby girls who just opened their eyes two days ago. I will be visiting them Easter weekend and we will be able to take them right about as summer starts. :)
